Why spray foam for insulation?

How long does spray foam take to install?
Typical installation only requires 1-2 days.
What is the difference between Open cell and Closed cell foam?
On open cell foam the cells are slightly open allowing water to pass threw but not air. On closed cell foam, the cells are closed blocking air and water. Both foams stop air, the biggest difference is that closed cell foam is waterproof. Closed cell foam is more rigid and more consistent. Open cell foam is softer, and great for anything above grade, attics, walls. Any where moisture is present closed cell foam is used.
What are the benefits of spray form?
FoamKing spray foam has the highest r-value per inch of any insulation. Spray foam will seal every crack making your home exceptionally engery efficient. Spray foam adds structural integrity and essentially glues your structure together.
Why should I insulate my home/office/barn/building?
Spray foam if the only insulation that stops air and does not settle over time. Comparing it to other insulation is not apples to apples. Anything over a R-40 is not needed in the spray foam world.
What is spray foam made out of?
Foam is petroleum based.
What is the installation process for spray foam?
Spray foam is a two part component sprayed out of a gun at 1700 psi and 130 degrees. It comes out a liquid and turns to foam in 5 seconds.
Does spray foam have an odor?
The spray foam will have a odor as it off gasses. Foam will cure out 75% in the first 5 seconds and full cure in 24 Hours. Typically the smell will go away in a week or less.
What are the benefits of spray foam versus traditional insulation?
